Last year in Proviso Township was, it’s probably no exaggeration to say, epic — primarily because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which overturned our lives in a trillion different ways. And then George Floyd was murdered, which prompted its own global reckoning that engulfed Proviso Township. Quarantines and business closures and mask mandates collided with protests.
