Make a Monetary Donation

For your donation, use the PayPal Drop Down Box to select the appropriate category – General Fund, Wet Nose Pantry, or Dining Out For Good.  The Westchester Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, so you may be able to take a tax deduction for your donation.

Reason to Make a Tax-Deductible Monetary Donation

Because the Westchester Food Pantry is a member agency of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we can purchase food for significantly less than can be purchased at a grocery store. You might be able to buy a few non-perishable goods for $10 at your local retail store, but thanks to our retail relationships and bulk purchasing power, we can turn a $10 donation into 30 meals. Monetary donations give us the flexibility to purchase a variety of foods, including perishable and non-perishable food, to help our neighbors maintain a balanced diet.

Other Ways to Donate

Gift Cards

Our pantry can always use gift cards to purchase items we may run short on or pantry supplies, even if they have a partial balance on them. Mariano’s, Jewel, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Aldi’s, Pete’s Fresh Market, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Menards.

Employer Match

Make a larger impact with your donation by checking if your employer will match your gift.  Your donation can go even further to provide healthy food today and hope for the future. Employers of all sizes encourage charitable giving through matching gift programs.

In Honor or Memory of a Person

A Memorial Contribution provides an opportunity to honor the memory of a loved one with a monetary gift in their name. An Honor contribution is a unique way to recognize an individual for a noteworthy accomplishment or on a special occasion. Your gift in their name will help support the work of the Westchester Food Pantry. Each gift serves as a lasting tribute to the person.

Recurring Monthly Donation

By choosing to make a monthly gift, as a donor you are able to make a more sustained impact over time due to the reliability of consistent contributions to fund ongoing programs and initiatives.

Pantry Wishlist

Our Amazon Wishlist has various items that we need, whether a one-time purchase or products used every week at the pantry. For example, some products are bags with handles, dog food, cat food, utility knives, garbage bags, and tape.
