Yard Sale Fundraiser
Save the date! The 2025 Yard Sale Extravaganza
will be May 29, 30 and 31
Want to volunteer? Sign up here to help with the May 3 drop off days or Yard Sale May 29, 30 and 31.

Spring weather means yard sale season is upon us, and for the Westchester Food Pantry that means…YARD SALE EXTRAVAGANZA! Each year, people donate their unwanted but totally fabulous items to our sale. We sort, price and store, then pull everything out for a three-day sale!
There are three drop-off days leading up to the sale. Volunteers will help unload cars, sort and price items, and box them up for storage until the sale. Please read the volunteer notes carefully and choose the role that works best for you.
Bonus: volunteers working at the Donation Drop-Off Days can buy items as they see them–no need to wait until the Yard Sale Extravaganza. See something you like while sorting items? Buy it right then and there!
High school students can volunteer with a parent’s permission. For safety reasons, we cannot allow volunteers under the age of 14.
The drop-off days and sale are held at the Westchester Community Church, 1840 Westchester Blvd. Thank you!
We did it! The Yard Sale Extravaganza was again a success!
We raised over $13,300 for the Pantry. Thanks so much to all of our donors and shoppers, and especially our volunteers! Nearly 1,000 volunteers hours went into the three donation drop-off days and various other yard sale activities, and another 500 hours for the sale itself. Special thanks to the Westchester Community Church for hosting, and to the Yard Sale Extravaganza Chairs’ Claudia and Jim Gabel for all of their hard work.
This event is a great example of how much we can do when we have enough volunteers. Together, we make a difference. Thank you!
